COACHING

 

We offer lots of opportunities for coaching, whether at the boat club or with our partners in Gorse Boat club and Row Leeds. There are typically over 20 students within the club that regularly coach within the club. Each year we offer four students to become coaching scholars who receive funding as well as a structured development programme and funding.

Many of our students also volunteer for RowUK where they are deployed as coaches either in local state schools within indoor rowing clubs or on the water with The Gorse Boat Club or Leeds Rowing Club junior programme. Each year students have the opportunity to complete their level 2 coaching award, with many of the places being fully funded
