Peterborough Spring Regatta 2018

A big well done to all the rowers at Peterborough Regatta. This weekend was a tough one, coming just after the exam period and with a change in the British Rowing System, but we’re very proud of our crews for pulling through with some great times and results.

Despite a few rainy showers, we had a great weather leading to lots of dodgy sports bra and all-in-one tan lines! Barbeque dinner was a great hit on Saturday night, and some of our novice members had their first regatta, definitely a weekend to remember.

Nw 8+ A- 3rd in final

Nw 4+ – 4th final

Nw 8+B – 4th in heat

Nw 4+- 4th in heat

Nw4+ – 3rd in heat

Nw1x – 3rd in heat

Men’s 8+ (Band 1): 1st with a club record.

Men’s 8+ (Band 2): both eliminated in heats – mixed nov and senior crews.

Mens 1x (Band 1): 2nd.

en’s 4+ (Band 1) mixed senior and nov crew: eliminated in heat.

Mens 4x (Band 2) mixed senior and nov crew: eliminated in heat.

Mens 2x (Band 1): 3rd.

Mens 2x (Band 2): 3rd.

Mens 2x (Band 3): 3rd fastest boat but eliminated in heat.

W4x 3rd in final

W2x finished 3rd in their heat

W2x made the final and finished 4th
