BUCS Indoors 2019

This year we had the absolute pleasure of hosting BUCS as part of the Indoor Rowing Series 2019. Thanks to the help of all our amazing volunteers we were able to pull together a very successful event, with Universities from the North ascending upon the Gryphon Centre.

Huge thanks to Manchester, Leeds Beckett, Keele, Hull and York for coming - was a great atmosphere and some huge scores came from the day.

The results from the club were as follows:

•1st in Women’s HWT 2K •1st and 3rd in Men’s beginner 1K •1st and 2nd in Men’s 500m Sprint •2nd in Men’s lightweight 2k •2nd in Women’s 500m Sprint •2nd in Men’s 2K Relay •3rd in Women’s Beginner 1K •3rd in Mixed 2K Relay

As a result of these fantastic scores, we came out on top as the Overall Best Club, winning the VL and resulting in one very happy Club Captain.
