BUCS Regatta 2021

What a busy 3 days. The Senior and Beginner performance squads entered a total of 17 races and boy did the Beginner women storm their categories. This was most people's first experience of racing 2K on the water and everyone stood up to the challenge.

The Beginner women’s eight and quad won silver and the Beginner women’s four won bronze. Another Beginner women’s quad came first in their D final, smashing their competition by having 30 seconds on the next crew. Giving us the title of best women’s Beginner programme in England. History was made by winning the first club medals in sweep and by entering a lightweight quad that came 7th in the champ category. Brigham represented the club coming home with a 4th overall against very strong opposition.

Massive thank you again to Cross Keys Garage in Morley who provided us with the superb Isuzu D-Max that made light work of towing our big trailer to Nottingham for BUCS Regatta this weekend.
