Tees Regatta 2019 Race Report

Tees Regatta was a new event for UOLBC, and one we shall definitely be returning to! With Dan and the boys heading down with the boats in the early hours, our rowers were easily persuaded to leave the library for the day and take a well deserved revision break on the water.

Despite the dreary weather, all of our teams had great races, with this being many of the Novi's first regatta. The Novice Women Performance 4+ were particularly happy winning their first ever pot, with special thanks to Tierney McCardle who filled in last minute.

Overall, a very successful day for the club, with our Senior Men's 2x taking first place in a very close final. It was clearly all the support coming from the bridge in the form of 'Razz it'. 'Yeah Leeds' has very much been replaced and is sure to be featured at many a future regatta. If it wins pots, no one is complaining.
