What a summer we have had! Attending 7 different events, some being more successful than others.
At Burton the mixed eight won the first medal of the pot hunting season. Followed by both quads winning their races to race each other in the final. Both the women's double and mixed double gave it their all.
At St Neots both Matt Brigham and Connor Bull won medals in their singles. The mixed double of Taryn and Ethan made it all the way to the final but sadly no medal was brought back. The beginner men were happy with their race as they felt they had made improvements.
At Henley Town the weather matched our luck with a lot of rain and a single win in the mixed coxed four. The height difference in the crew members of the mixed coxed four was comical.
To finish off August we had Gloucester & Ross Regatta where the mixed double of Gabriel and Sophie B won the first pot of the summer. The next day at Ross we were highly successful with a win in the mixed quad, the women's eight, women’s double made up of Sophies and Connor in his single.
To finish off the summer pot hunting we attended North of England Sprints where we entered 13 boats. Our Women’s coxed four and quad won their events as did the Men in the same equivalent event.
