Wallingford Race Report

November 24, 2018

Sunday saw our Performance seniors take a day trip down to Wallingford to have a go up against the great and the good of the rowing world. Every boat had a convincing row and today cemented a good start to the season with some very promising times. A special mention goes to Sally Watt for doubling up across the divisions (hero), to Anna Daggettt for nailing her first head race (star) and to Cormac Auty for snapping the steering but staying so cool that no one noticed till you’d finished racing (legend).

As always a big thanks to our coach Dan, his day included a 4am start to get the trailer down to Wallingford for us. We’d be lost without you.

Results as follows:

Div 1:
W.U23 4+: 4th – 19:42.1

Div 2:
Open Men’s 8+: 13th – 15:34.5
W.U23 8+: 3rd – 17:19.5
U23 4+: 3rd – 17:41.2
